Portraits - photographed on a variety of film stocks
Starting in April of 2025, I began making more photographs on analog film, and by the end of that year, I had more film photographs than I had digital. The medium felt special, I decided to go full analog, a decision that would make me a very different photographer than I was earlier. I shot about 9 rolls of different film stocks, amounting to over 250 exposures. Published above are a collection of portraits made on 135 film. Photographs of complete strangers I met on the road, and of some of my closest friends. I still make photographs on digital, but I find myself leaning more into analog for portraits. Something about it feels more organic.
